GOOD QUESTIONS

A little clarity
before you share.

All your questions, answered
Will my QR code expire?

Static QR data has no built-in expiration. A linked website can disappear, or your Wi-Fi settings can change. Your code will still contain the original information.

Is this really free?

Yes. Link, text, and Wi-Fi codes, including PNG and SVG downloads, are free. No account, watermark, or payment is required.

Does my information leave my device?

Your QR content is processed in this browser. We don’t send entered links, text, or network passwords to a server, and the tool uses no analytics or browser storage. The hosting service receives ordinary page requests.

How do I make sure it scans?

Keep the white border, use a clear print at a suitable size, and test the final code with more than one phone in real lighting. Dense codes may need more space.

Good things start with a connection.

Make yours

Share your Wi-Fi without typing the password.

Enter your network name exactly as shown in your router settings, choose its security type, and enter the password. Your Wi-Fi QR code appears automatically. Download a PNG for sharing or SVG for a scalable print.

What is inside a Wi-Fi QR code?

The code contains your network name, security setting, and password in the common Wi-Fi QR format. Everything is generated in this browser. The credentials are not uploaded or stored by the generator.

A QR code does not encrypt your password.

Anyone who has the image can decode the credentials. Share it with trusted guests. If you change your Wi-Fi password, create a new code and replace old copies.

Check device compatibility.

This tool supports personal WPA/WPA2, WEP, and open-network conventions, with an optional hidden-network flag. Enterprise networks and WPA3-only compatibility are not promised. Scan the downloaded code on your intended phones and check that they join the right network.

Before you print

Keep the white border intact and test the final print at its intended size. Read the QR creation and scan guide, or browse the QR code FAQ.
