HEYQR.IN / HOW IT WORKS
How to create and test a QR code
From your screen to the real world, with just three steps.
1. Choose what to share
Use Link for a website, Text for a message, or Wi-Fi for a personal network. Enter the exact content you want someone to receive. Generation happens automatically; there is no Generate button.
2. Check and download
Review the encoded address if one is shown. Save a PNG at 512, 1024, or 2048 pixels, or choose SVG for a scalable vector file. The white border is part of the code. Keep it intact.
3. Test before you share
Scan the downloaded image with your phone camera and confirm the exact destination or text. For Wi-Fi, verify that a second device can join the intended network.
Before printing
Print a sample at the final size. Start around 25–30 mm for a simple code, allow more space for dense content or distant scans, and test in realistic lighting on both Android and iPhone. Avoid reflections, folds, blurred enlargement, and cropping the border. These are starting points, not scan guarantees.
Static means fixed
The QR code contains your content directly. There are no tracking redirects. If the destination changes, you’ll need a new code and a new print.
